Hadley stroked her softly, doing his best to be reassuring. Doing that was fair difficult, to tell the truth. He knew she was sorry, probably for destroying the room, the rest of the turmoil an absolute mystery to him. He had no idea that she held herself responsible for his actions. If he had known that he probably would have asked if she was his master, to do such a thing. Hadley was free after all, and didn't do anything that he didn't want to do. Well, at least in theory.


He looked around, considering the mess. It's not that bad. We clear out all the broken stuff, and I can make something that'll fit. It'll be more comfortable too. Won't you like that? He glanced at Isa nervously before standing up, starting to gather the debris and push it into a pile. It would take a fair amount of work, but hopefully Isa would get it and help him clear it up. That would make everything better. He was sure of it.
