Hadley’s tail wagged as hers did, though not nearly with as much excitement as her own. She had no idea it was somewhat of an act, trying to force himself to forget about Selene. His jaw dropped at her suggestion. Perhaps it was a bad idea. Finally, he shrugged and asked if she would help. Isa nodded as they took the bed apart and carried it piece by piece. Luckily, they didn’t run into anyone as they carried the bed. Isa knew Hadley might be upset if others weren’t happy with him moving in with her so soon after the incident with Selene.
Finally finished with moving everything, Isa sat down on the bed which was now in her room. She was exhausted after carrying the thing all the way back to Casa. It never seemed like a very long walk from Casa to the house until she carried that thing. Her two Red-tail Hawks were perched on small tree shaped stand she had made for them. Most days her door was left open so they could freely leave the room. The pair always seemed to come back at night if they wandered off though, having grown attached to the silver woman.
