Had to keep going. Don't stop. If you stop, you die. The mantra ran through Amy's head, pushing herself relentlessly. She would not be weak. She would not stop. The scent of blood accompanied Amy everywhere, training without stop. Her hands were torn open, but that was nothing compared to Raoth's wounds. When he'd stopped being able to keep up she'd tossed him aside, leaving him for Dhiate to care for. She wasn't going to slow down just to look after one measly slave. Someone else could do that.
The stupid crow she'd picked up was still there, hovering around. At least it was a bit more quiet now, mainly because Amy had finally learned some avian speech and screamed an insult at it. The bird still let out the occasional stream of words, but it was more calmed down, the bird having taken offense to what Amy had said. Leaving the pack Amy had decided to start hunting for someone else to fight with. Working against the dummies just wasn't enough. She needed to hit real flesh and blood, make someone beg for mercy, overpower them and prove that she had that worth she'd always believed she had.
