He stopped pulling back. Good. It was small, but it was control. He wasn't going to leave her. Amy took in deep breaths, slowly settling down. She met his gaze, brown eyes trying to hold strong, wanting more of what he had offered in that simple touch, a craving she'd never experienced before. She'd never needed it before, never felt it. He leaned back in, arms holding her upright, giving her strength. She wasn't going to collapse. She would rebuild.
Amy almost laughed at the growl, slightly hysterical. It was her all over, too tough, refusing to do anything but growl and snap at others, yet he had managed to change it, turning it into something else. His muzzle buried into her neck as Amy took in his scent. The scent of a pack that wasn't hers, another female, it was all there. Amy didn't care though. She took what she wanted, and right now what she wanted was him, pushing away the pain. He nipped her softly, words spoken that she cherished. Leaning back slowly Amy sighed, eyes closing. Thank you.
