As the gate loomed before them Ignatius slowed himself and Pippa and came to a halt before the iron gate. Luckily for them the gate had been pulled up before the humans dissapeared, giving them easy access to the remains of the shelters scattered within the stone walls. The area made Ignatius ill-at-ease though, and the bare land would make both hunting and hiding difficult. He would much rather make for the forest before night was upon them.

It seemed that his gracious guide was ready to be rid of him and though Ignatius had enjoyed having the company for a little while, the dog’s sour demeanor had put a slight damper on his high spirts. Though Toby had tried to hide it well, he could tell that the man was annoyed at having to escort him about the land. He cleared his throat as he turned away from the gate and toward the Shepherd. “No, I think I can find my way from here if you point me in the right direction.” He tugged at Pippa’s lead to get her moving again as the dog hopefuly pointed out the direction he wanted. “Thank you for you help, Toby."
