The fort was oddly peaceful in the morning, especially considering it housed more Luperci than Neela had ever found in a single dwelling before. Neela found it quite relaxing to spend an hour or two wandering around the halls before she started work for the day, poking around the nooks and crannies of the fort and seeing what she could find. The usual quiet was being disturbed today however by a rhythmic thumping sound, echoing oddly through the stone hallways.
Head cocked quizzically Neela began to make her way towards the sound, rounding a corner just in time to see a massive blur racing towards her. Thankfully Neela's natural grace came in handy and she was able to just dodge the Luperci barrelling towards her, wincing as she heard her hit the wall behind them. Same from the threat of being crushed Neela spun round quickly, rushing over to the downed dog, "Hey, you alright?" She asked. Something in Neela's tone twinged and she recognised the scent of the stranger as that of a pup, albeit a very large one apparently, and she moved forwards to fuss over her, dropping down and extending her muzzle to sniff around the pup's head.
