One hand reached up, scratching behind Adelle's ears. Her tail wagged brightly, enjoying the affectionate attention. Sure, it might have taken more effort than most in order to actually scratch her ears, but she was still enjoying the attention. Told that she was truly fearsome Adelle looked up doubtfully. She was still young, but not quite young enough to bite what adults told her without thinking. It was true that she looked capable of taking others down though, with her large size.
Grinning Adelle sat down on the ground, looking over the new member. She seemed smart enough, knowing what she was doing. Perhaps a touch on the small side, but that was alright. Not everyone could be as large and amazing as Grandpa and Jazper. Affronted by Neela's too true words Adelle lifted her head, trying to look like she had done it on purpose. I was testing to make sure they're strong. Need to keep bad guys out.
