Red, red, red! Receded orbs would not move from that spot on the stranger's nape. It was right there, within his grasp, all he had to do was throw the weapon. He could feel his poised arm begin to shake, desiring for a fleeting moment to kill the four-legged creature and take the colorful pelt. His lips began to salivate, shaking him from his reverie, and licked away the spittle slowly. The empty claw raised towards his fiery necklace, and he rubbed at the gem in hopes it would give him some restraint around this stranger. Satellite ears honed in when the other spoke, replying nervously to the still-shaking coyote. For a few moments, the male on horseback seemed lost, into another world, feeling his vision blur. "Lohit." His thick tongue finally loosened as the desert-furred male shook his head, as if that was not the right answer.
"What you dig-.... C-c-can I... I... can have some, erm... r-red hair.. j-j-just little... uh.. c-can I has some hair?" The request, though odd in itself, when mingled in with his disordered tongue seemed utterly ridiculous. Lohit's speech was comprised of speeding up and pausing, as if forgetting what he was saying, but in his mind the intention was clear. He wanted some of that red fur, and soon, before the male would feel compelled to pin the wolf and take it for himself. It wouldn't be hard.. just a little, he thought wickedly.
In all his obsessing, his over-sized ears caught the sounds of movement in the trees, not far from the pair. "What that?" Lohit barked, forgetting for the moment of the male and directing his spear to the trees. Suranyu nickered and backed up a few paces, as if feeling the tension of her rider. There was something out there, perhaps food, and the coyote could already feel his mouth water once more. "H-hunt.. yayaya. We s-see?" Citrine eyes were back on Jiva, impatiently leaning forward on his mare and awaiting an answer. He wanted to hunt it down, and now, before it got away.
