Things escalated at the mere sound of noise. Jiva heard the man’s broken words, thinking, perhaps he wasn’t english speaking, whatever the case he knew he was invited along. The man above him on the horse seemed bent on getting some of Jiva’s hair. He didn’t want some crazed coyote after him for something that could easily grow back. He followed the man and moved quietly until they were closer to where the sound had once been. Then he spotted movement and could see a young buck, who’s horn were barely buds on his head. He had to be a least a season old! He was prancing just ahead and then stopped. He hadn’t spotted the three of them. Jiva looked up at the man named Lohit. This was his deer. He had initiated the hunt. Jiva would help. He would wait for orders from the luperci man. Jiva had never hunted in any form than his natural one so he wondered if Lohit was going to get down and change too, or if he had some other form of hunting. This excited Jiva with anticipation of watching someone else hunt he wasn’t related to nor was in his pack of traditional hunting. He would never fall from his place and change his way of hunting. Though it had not been successful as of late and he needed something to put his mind at ease, to show him he could possibly be a great hunter.
