Wander was in a slight panic.
It had been fourteen days since a rather awkward encounter had occurred, and she could tell that something was amiss. The change was faint, but when sight was given to one by their hands, it was there. It was a slight swelling, that was for sure, and hopefully not to noticeable. That hadn't stopped the slender dame from touching at her stomach from time to time, some part of her hoping she was just feeling sick from something she had eaten. However, the doe only had her own poor judgement to blame.
Quietly, she was curled up on her hide set off to a corner that was designated as her bed. Breath hitched in her throat when she heard someone approach, and it held there, as if breathing would alert whomever was coming closer. Her heart thundered away in her ribs, blind eyes wide as they turned towards the entrance of the King's room, hark alert atop her skull. The scent was faintly familiar, and her nares tested at the air further, trying to place an identity. The dame hadn't met this woman formally, though she had bumped into her once before, on the way from being shooed out of the King's quarters and out to the ruins.
In a way, she was fearful of this stranger woman, as well as grateful. After all, this stranger seemed to do a majority of work for Wander, seeing as how Sirius didn't trust anyone else, and it allowed her to roam. But at the moment, this woman was feared, and that much was evident simply in the dame's posture.
