Even simply walking was a fairly involved task for Neela nowadays; the collie was constantly paying attention to her surrounding as she travelled around her new territory to try and familiarise herself with it. Her efforts today were somewhat hampered by the constant noise generated by the chicks as they flew around her. Admittedly only half the birds were making noise - Grynn was up in the air hunting and Skylar perched quietly on her shoulder - but Oonu and Marahute managed to make enough noise for half a dozen, flying in circles and bickering as they were.

Today Neela wasn't walking just for the sake of walking but actually had a goal. She was taking a short trip out of the pack to go and visit Jace, and her pups, over in Cercatori de Arte.

Neela was still a little nervous about approaching her friend now that she knew the truth about Neela's past but Jace had reassured her that she didn't care multiple times and had specifically asked Neela to visit her so the collie was setting out, though not without trepidation.

Suddenly as she approached the border Neela became aware of a faint sound filtering through the veil of noise created by the birds, the sound of somebody playing the flute. The chicks had noticed it to and Neela had to let out a short, sharp bark to rein them in before they shot off; Oonu and Marahute had taken to the annoying habit of attacking any creature that they didn't recognise.

Thankfully they listened to her and dropped back, Marahute landing on Neela's free shoulder opposite her sister and Oonu circling above them. Reassured that the chicks wouldn't be randomly attacking anybody Neela moved forwards curiously towards the noise, one hand slipping to the back of her waist and brushing the handle of one of her knives in an unassuming gesture just in case; Neela didn't think it would be needed but was still aware of how close to the border she was.
