The morning had been spent cleaning out Sirius' living-space, dusting off her deer hide bed, and had fetched water for the king, and attempted to get all of her chores aside before he had stirred from his sleep. This was all, of course, just so she could get out as soon as possible, paranoid of his presence and aware of the fact that he had only considered her an object, which unnerved the ash, cocoa and ivory dame. Quietly, she paced about, cane tapping silently along the ground, as she searched for solace a ways from the ruins.
She had begun to settle, resting those milky, mossy sights, once she had found a nice dry place to perch. Lids grew heavy, hark falling apt, and her crown rested back into the tree, a slow breath easing its way into her lungs.Slim jaws parted, tongue curling as maw opened wide for the intake of oxygen, lips curling upwards in slight to reveal those pointed ivories, yawn seeping its way through her system. It was so relaxing here, and a small sound of relaxation escaped those charcoal lips.
Just as she had begun to doze off, however, a scent roused her from her relaxation. Muzzle crinkled as she tested the air, cracking one of those blind sights open. The scent of death was apparent, and ruined her relaxed mood. Carefully, she stood up once more, cautious as she approached the scent.
Hello...? Is someone there? she asked softly as she approached the coppery smell of blood.
