Silvyyyyyy <3. Takes place just after this thread, on the edge of Ethereal Eclipse. WC: 426

The news struck her heart like an arrow, and a part of her died that very day.

When Anu sounded the call, it was urgent, and yet stricken with sadness. The mahogany woman was far but prepared for what she had to say when everyone had gathered. However, the snow white beauty had stopped listening after the first few statements. 'Gone', 'family', and 'leaving' were the only bits and pieces she could take from the rest of the meeting. Never had the female felt so.. empty.. since the death of her poppa. The loss of her last remaining family. And now she would be losing her family for the second time. Anu's words were heartfelt, but they bit past Giselle's flesh and into her soul, so much so that she had to excuse herself as quietly as possible, her voice straining to keep control.

As soon as she was out of sight from the Dreamers, Giselle ran. She ran hard and fast away from the Dreamer lands, feeling the tears burn even as the wind whipped them furiously across her cheeks. Past the flower fields and the windmill, knowing the worst and yet fearing her unanswered thoughts. The worst was yet to come - they would have to leave Crimson Dreams; all memories, scents, laughter, and life behind. The petite femme wasn't sure where she could go, but the only direction for her right now was forward, letting her fears consume her like fire. Savina was gone, and many of her family members with her, and she could practically feel her heart clench if that meant Silvano, too. A part of the Lictor was not sure if she could go on, if she could move on to another life, especially if everyone she knew and loved were left behind. Her body might, but only as a hollow shell; her heart would never be mended again.

Only when the trees began whipping at her sides and face did she come to a stop. Ivory knees met the mossy floor beneath as she fell onto them hopelessly, letting the tears flow freely. Her hands covered the forest's view of her grieving eyes, but had some point uncovered them and wrapped them around her drawn-up knees, muzzle tilted towards the pines. Why... why is this happening? The usual lilt in Giselle's voice was now gone, replaced with a mournful song. She let the silent response of the forest seep into her, and buried her face between her chest and knees, sinking her sorrow in the darkness she had created.
