If they could stay together on the old Dreamer lands, Silvano knew that they would. But someone was bound to come and pick up the land that was left open by the pack's departure. The manor would not be safe if another pack came calling to claim the land. They would have to take Heritage and get their possessions away. Thank god they had not yet had any children, or else this would have been even more of a pressing need. Silvano was glad they had only themselves to think of, especially with his home falling apart at his ears. Perhaps if they found a stable place, they could start thinking of them again.

He listened to her silently, squeezing her in his arms. She was thinking of him if she believed he could become a knight for real. The Dreamers had no such true thing and he had never thought to take the co-rank that was once held by another. Perhaps in the Court he could be a Knight as he had wanted. But he had to think of Giselle too. And the Court seemed smarter. Casa was still vague to him and he did not know what kind of place Giselle would have there. No, the Court was where they had to go. Maybe then Giselle could become the princess both in act and rank. "We should go to the Court. It seems easier for both of us, especially if we want Heritage to help carry all our things." The horse was still a yearling, only a colt. His back was stronger but he still ought not to work him too hard. How were they going to take the library with them?
