The tuxedo male was hoping to make his mark in the pack, maybe he could be the successor when his father was ready to retire, or was cut down. Hopefully, it wouldn't be the latter. The Marino male, was sharping and polishing his sword. He had to protect his sword from damage and that was the purpose of polishing it. His sharpening tools and a special blend of polish he made from oils and his sharpening tools special stone that he researched. His trained motions refining the blade, and smoothing out any imperfections in the blade. A rag he used being pulled from his pouch to be used to gently and carefully run along the side of the blades to get any metal dust away. He turned the sword to inspect the sharpening work. Plucking a blade of grass he ran it over the blade slicing it into two with ease. He smiled pleased.

He dipped the rag into a designed gourd to hold the oils he made. In practiced motions he began to polish the blade, starting at the top and making his way slowly down. Small circular motions making sure to get into every nook and cranny, careful around the sharp edges.
