Sights blinked and rolled in his skull, everything far too bright, far too blurred, each noise far too loud, and Tobias's head ached, throbbed and pounded, temples screaming the more he came to. A shadow seeped into his gaze, moving quick towards his form as he rolled his way onto his back. His charcoal eyes were narrowed on the shape before he wheezed once more, coughing raucously in such a manner it caused his whole form to tremble, causing him to noticeably flinch and hold onto bruised ribs. The man was fading in and out, in and out, sight blurring black before focusing on a concerned looking girl.
Of course it had to be a damned girl. A scowl curved his lips, at least to the best he could in his weakened state, though he was unable to sustain the knit-brow, stern expression. Tobias swallowed dryly, throat rasping as he coughed once more.
Percival, he rumbled coarsely. Fin' me Percival, lass.
He wasn't sure that the girl understood what he was commanding, his tone rumbling low, with his tightened-jaw form of speech. The brute wanted to ask questions, so many questions, to direct his confused fury upon something, but nothing could formulate in his mind, so he continued to mumble in an irritated and harsh tone.
