Amy had finished returning her horse to the barn, thinking over what she had learned in her travels. Selene was doing well, finally becoming the heiress she'd always seen in the girl. Could still use some aid there, but better than before. Amy was always willing to help, since she had gained the letter granting her family power in Italy. It had been sent off, with copies made to ensure that it arrived. A howl calling her to the borders came shortly after. Curious Amy trotted down, wondering what it could be. A large smile spread across her face as she recognized a sailor from one of the ships. It had been a while since the letter had been delivered. It looked like it was going to pay off now.
The sailor bowed down courteously, holding out a sealed letter, as well as a package. Nodding her head Amy passed him a single gold piece, one of only a handful that she owned. Grinning the sailor departed, and Amy moved a short distance back. Gently she seated herself on a rock, opening the letter. The words inside were precious, warming her heart. They were proud of her. She had done well in her work. The information she'd sent them was valued, letting them work on continuing to expand their influence. Smiling she folded the letter back up, opening the package to reveal a prized bottle of fine italian wine, and a polished set of intricate assassin daggers, beautiful workmanship along the blades. Amy gently pressed her thumb to them, watching the blood swell. A perfect gift.
