She smiled as he spoke, awaiting an answer. She wasn't certain if what he did say was a dismissal of her offer or not, but she smiled nonetheless. Her tail swung as his did, and she felt herself relax. He uttered a polite phrase, a gesture, she knew. The councilwoman dipped her head briefly in a silent display of respect before she spoke. "Please, you will find only friendly faces here. And if you will not stay now, you are welcome another time." With friends, too, she thought, thinking especially of their leadership. Was it manipulative to see the potential fruits of a friendship with this individual? It was not as if she was making friends where there were no grounds for it: she genuinely liked him. It was easy enough to gather why Grace had wished to help him. To the Anasgayv, it was plain that he was a gentle soul.
