Ocean of Thought

Rhona Keerin had never seen the ocean before. She had grown up in the vast Boreal forests of Canada, her clan's territory no where near the ocean. She had seen very large, landlocked lakes, but nothing could have ever prepared her for the vastness of the ocean. Her first view of the large, loud and interesting smelling body of water was a few weeks ago when she finally made it out of the forests. Somehow, she had managed to make it to the coastline without coming in contact with another living soul. She was actually beginning to get quite lonely. At first, everything was an adventure, but now, it would be nice to settle down somewhere and actually speak to another intelligent being.

Rho had been traveling the coast line ever since her first view of the ocean and had eventually made it to a lovely bay with long, windswept shores full of many interesting things that she had never seen before! Today she was padding along the beach, just taking in the sight of everything. The constant breeze teased her long, gray and brown hair, tangling it around her ears and showering her with the salty mist of the cool ocean. A few seagulls winged overhead, calling out in their strident voices, not paying much mind to the slender lupine figure below them.

Coming across a large piece of driftwood, worn smooth by it's time near the water, Rhona sat, digging her toes into the sand and bending over to examine the many shells, tiny bugs and other creatures scurrying around. Unsheathing a claw on her forefinger, she began drawing lazy circles and spirals onto the damp shore.
