Big Grin

Silvano smoothed over the horse's mane, softly muttering the colt's name. Heritage shook his head out, eager to dry off and take a long drink of water. A sound came from a little ways away. He peered up, and the horse did the same, brown and green eyes gazing in the same direction. A young woman appeared, bubbly and eager as she saw the horse. Silvano peered at Giselle, who was just as bubbly on a good day. Today, though, she was terribly subdued and tired. They were all tired, weary to their souls. Silvano gave a tired smile at the young woman, who could not have been too much younger than him, but his measure of age had changed so drastically. "He's sweaty but if you would like to pet his nose, go ahead." Heritage raised his head, bobbing it in the woman's direction.

Silvano looked at the King, thinking about his mother and how she had greeted strangers. She could have been queen, regal as she was. Silvano bowed his head at the King, remember his books on royalty and wondering if this one stood on ceremony. "We've come from Crimson Dreams. It..," he paused looked absently at Giselle before continuing, "My mother, Savina, has left the Dreamers and Anu is too old to run it. It has disbanded." It was a cold and blunt way to put it, but that was how he truly felt; cold and blunt.
