[m] [p] ten thousand days in the fire

It was a sad thing really, they had given up so easily. Alessandra was almost disapointed that her kin species couldn't have enough bravery to put up more of a fight then this. The male coyote knew he had lost, there was no point in trying to escape. His female companion soon joined him, directed by the shaded female on horseback to her right. The pair looked pitiful on the ground, shivering and clutching eachother in fear. If she was in the same position and was as weak as these two she might have reacted the same, but she did not. Both horses drew up to either side of the coyote pair, making it so there was no escape. Valhalla reached forward and snuffed the male coyote, blowing hot air in his face from his nostrils. Clearly, he had the right taste.

The male started to open his mouth, but was silenced immediately. " You, shut up before I cut out your tongue. " The ebony female snapped, feeling her chest rise with cruelness and being in the position of power. Turning to look at Eris, she saw him move slightly in the corner of her vision. " If you think I'm the only one who will stop you if you move another foot, you are sorely mistaken. " She said, her tone cruel and laced with malice. Valhalla stared at him and pawed at the ground with his hoof, issuing a snort of warning to the male. His ears lay themselves flat against his head and his eyes widened in fear, not daring to move another step. Less watched him for another minute before returning her icy blues to meet Eris's eyes.

" What do you propose we do with them Lady Eris? " She asked, a wicked smile painted across her maw. " The pack could always use a couple of slaves... or maybe perhaps only one.. " The woman suggested, leaving the end of her speech open to interpretation. She had heard about Larkspur's death, it wouldn't replace him, but maybe the death of one other may ease the pain slightly, make it more bearable.
