Fritz had spent the day that he met the ragtag group with them discussing plans for a home for everyone. He wasn’t too sure about being a pirate or a leader but he supposed that he could manage it. Of course he did have some experience with ships since one of the things that his father did, well still does, was build ships and repair them. He therefore learned to do the same and used that knowledge, and his father's name, to get passage from London to Nova Scotia.
But he had left later to scout out the area they were wanting to settle. And Selene came with him. They had found the area that Ichika no Ho-en was to be empty. It would appear that the northern pack was no more. He could still smell their markers but they were over a week old. Which meant Tobias and he could establish their group of pirates here. He was pretty sure that the few reasons that he was chosen to help lead were his size and the fact that he was a male. Fritz had the distinct impression that the group was rather…chauvinistic. Of course his experience with boats likely sealed the deal.
He was especially excited to find that there was a rather nice strip of beach that even had a somewhat wrecked ship. Of course it still was floating and it seemed to have no major damage. He could probably have it totally fixed in a few weeks but he would need to look at a bit closer to be sure. But as far as he could tell, they could maybe live in it either right away or with some very minor fixes. And as he looked out at the water and the boat, he could feel the stirrings of the sea calling to him.
