Octavius had been drawn to the stables when he saw a white horse running around. Their coloring was nearly exactly the same, which pleased the young male for some reason. Moving throughout the building, he searched for the stallion’s stall and nearly yipped with glee upon finding it. After their initial meeting, getting over the wariness of being new friends…the two clicked and got along great. Kuuya understood a handful of upper speech and Octa was often able to read his body language and sounds enough to know what the horse was trying to get across to him. Within a week, the Abigor was riding and playing with the large equine on a near daily basis, for hours at a time. He always tried to go out when no one else was around, so they wouldn’t be disturbed.

When word of a new pack began to titter around Anathema, the boy’s ears perked with interest. He’d been itching to get out, go exploring and meet other Luperci. Sure, his views were rather naïve, but he wanted to see the world! After hearing the rumors for a little while, he made the decision to pack up and go find this band of loners who were planning on making a pack. Thankfully, he also heard that it was apparently somewhere nearby.

For the first time in his life, Octavius rummaged through the clothing he’d raided from the weird buildings with Mido, and chose some to put on. The biggest pair of pants he could find fit alright, though they were a little bit tight on his thighs and he had to cut a hole for his tail. Up top he decided on a vest, a very large piece of sleeveless fabric with worn out metal buttons and a few ratty edges. When it was buttoned up, it covered the top edge of the pants and looked rather sharp on his lean and tall body. Grinning happily, he began stuffing the clothing and blankets, scraps of cloth and sewing supplies into a large bag he’d made from two tattered deer skins.

Kuuya had been a bit nervous about the two large packs Octavius brought to him, draping them gently over his wide back and fastening a soft halter and lead around his head. Thirty minutes later, they were approaching the borders, Octavius walking with the lead in his hand, and the large stallion following at his heels. No hesitation as he passed through, he didn’t want to look back, because that would cause him to wanna go see his mom before taking off. Instead he just kept walking, letting out a steady stream of chatter to the horse. Before he realized, they were miles and miles away from Anathema, and the scent of new Luperci hit his nose, causing his head to snap up and Kuuya to snort nervously. This was it.

Tossing his head back, Octa howled softly and followed it up with a few yips as he walked, drawing closer to the scents cautiously. A break in the trees and the smell of them and the ocean grew strong, making him take in a deep breath and sigh. Smiling happily, he took in the sight of the others standing around conversing with each other. There were a few females, one of which had two snakes, causing Octa’s eyes to light up with pure joy. He loved snakes! Next he looked to the big spotted male, who seemed to be in charge at the moment. Hi there, I’m Octavius Poer de Angelo from Anathema.
