Of course, that night she had been just as restless as the other nights. Without Stygian at her side, slept had lost its appeal, and all she wanted was to curl up with her black tipped lover, head buried so tightly into his fur that she couldn't see anything else. Call her crazy, but the children were welcome to curl up to her, but not him. He belonged to her, and her alone. She had left the babies sleeping, knowing they wouldn't wake until she woke them the next morning, and took a walk across the lands, thinking of visiting Gabriel. What she discovered on her way though, changed her plans immediately.

Oh, those stupid stupid beasts! Gabriel already had one he was mauling, and another female had already taken one as her plaything. Ahemait didn't know who exactly to pick, and rather took a few precious moments while she was still far enough away from the scuffle to not be known yet to shift. Looking more and more like Kaena in this form, her fur had shifted to a slightly grey color, rather than the brilliant gold of normal, her hair came in dark and long, as Kaena's had been. If any of those wolves had ever seen her mother, the chances they would mistake the two was great. Only thing that was missing was Kaena's myriad of scars.

Now shifted, it was evident that her body was well toned, giving her almost an Amazonian quality. She had a brilliant madness to her, and as she launched herself into the fray, intent on taking down the one who had been farthest behind, no doubt scared and only doing it to fufuill some promise she had given her clan. Maybe she was the smart one, to not want to be here. Not that it mattered to Ahemait one bit, she came in with claws baring, the intent to hurt had ebbed away. She wanted to kill.
