Going up was always her goal. No matter how good she was, Amy could always improve. That was why she was the best. That was why she was better than the other scum that surrounded her. That was why she would find a way to stop the screaming from ever happening again, and prove herself to the pack, the leader, and everyone else who would think lowly of her. She would not stop until she was acknowledged as she rightfully deserved.
The crow that kept her company sat high above, watching the flashes of her sword. Rain came down, simply an added challenge that helped her find new ways of battling. The rain became her ally, a tool to use against her foe. Granted, she didn't have anyone to practice against, but she wasn't going to let that stop her. Occasionally the crow called out an attack, a garbled mixture Amy was just starting to piece together, mainly having learned various insults. She moved to the cries the best she could, occasionally misinterpreting and moving for a much different maneuver than was called for.
