Amy's eyes roamed over the choice. Mentally she noted what she knew about them, how the strikes would be made. Rather similar to daggers, except it could be used as a guard, and had a much more vicious back strike. Shifting her grip Amy stepped back. She had long stopped shaking the rain from her coat, thoroughly soaked and no longer feeling it coating over her body. Her eyes roamed over his body, noting the strengths in his stance.
She wasn't some lousy beginner at least. Careful to not reveal any gaps in her guard Amy moved slightly, feet gripping against the muddy ground. She'd have to keep that in mind, how slippery it was. An advantage and a disadvantage. Lightning fast Amy flicked her blade forwards, moving to strike against his weapons, a preliminary check of how he would handle them. The real fight hadn't started yet.
