No movement was made to block her attack. Amy felt herself connect, a sudden hard point of contact resonating through her body as she pushed against him. The wolf tumbled back, Amy working to keep a smirk from forming on her face. Sparring or not she was doing well, proving herself a strong opponent, one to be feared. Mido skidded in the mud, going back. Amy watched him from the higher ground, knowing that she could easily take him down in a pin at this point.
That wasn't the point of this. The point was to practice fighting, and Amy knew that Mido, even as he was right now, was a blessing for her. Someone she could use to measure weaknesses and strengths, to see where she could have done better, to make sure that she didn't repeat his faults. A swift movement came towards her, and the warrior was off the ground coming for her. Teeth bared Amy braced herself, knocked back onto the ground. The rocky landscape that had been an advantage became painful. Swiftly she rotated herself back up, sending a shower of mud at him to obscure her strike for his stomach.
