Malakai wasn't as quick as he thought he would be in getting to grips with the layout of the pack den and chambers. The walls all tended to look the same to him, and just when he thought he was learning his way around, and strutted confidently around a corner, he quickly found out that it didn't lead him to where he thought it would. Usually, his sense of direction was fairly good, but underground, it felt like his senses had dullened almost, if that was even possible.
Sniffing the air as he moved had become a habit since being welcomed into the pack, constantly picking up new scents of pack members he hadn't met yet, but even though he had only bumped into a small handful of others, it was still nice to think of the ones he hadn't met yet as family. Kai still walked with a limp, thanks to the wound on his rear right flank, bandaged now. An injury sustained whilst bringing down a large stag, an injury that had prompted him to seek help and ultimately join Anathema. Remaining in his Secui form, the one he prefered, Kai had been so busy in trying to work out where he was and where he was heading to that his right leg stretched just a little more than he intended, and a little more of his weight was placed upon it. Malakai growled deeply, snorting his anger as the stab of pain that lanced through him, causing him to swear and mutter under his breath as he hobbled down one of the many and seemingly endless halls that linked chambers and dens.
