Malakai had met a few other pack members already, one who had led him into a dark cavern, knowing he carried an injury to his leg, only to run off and leave him in unknown territory. He had yet to catch up with that female, but when he did see Amy, she was going to regret her actions. He was currently thinking up something he could do to her, a punishment of sorts, that would make her a little more wary of pulling the same trick again, and before the sun set, he had decided to do a little exploring of the land himself, at least that way, if anything happened, he could only blame himself.
His leg felt a little better, had started healing fairly well, but it was clear he still wasn't putting all his weight onto his leg. Trotting in his lupus form now, he found it easier to move over the distance that way, Kai had thought to visit the borders of his new pack but planned to return to the dens by true nightfall. After all, he was still not at full strength and in unfamiliar lands, he didn't feel much like taking on anyone or anything, not until he knew his way around properly.
Reaching near the coastline, sniffing the air, he tasted the salt of the sea there, his nostrils flaring. He thought he caught something else on the soft breeze, something of a familiar scent, and so glancing over the rocks, his keen eyes were quick to pick out the Alpha female's form. Her white form didn't hide her too well out on the dark rocks, whereas Malakai,s black body was perfectly suited to hiding on them. He moved closer, quietly, as the female stared out over the sea, and whereas he had planned to sneak up on her rather mischeviously, when he noticed how thoughtful she looked, Kai decided against it. He may have been arrogant, but he wasn't blind. She had come out here for peace and quiet. And so, rather respectfully for the bullish male, Kai approached slowly, still remaining quiet, until he got up to the female's side, looking out over the water as she did. She was lying down, and could see with a sideways glance she had her eyes closed, but was probably fully aware of his presence. He inhaled heavily, filling his lungs with the fresh air, before disrupting her with his voice. "You have some spectacular places within your pack borders, Naniko... This is my favourite so far..."
