Zeitgeist wasn't about to let Guillotine out of his sight, let alone off of his hip, with such a strange being around. Being stalked wasn't exactly something that Zeitgeist was fond of. It was just another thing that set him on edge about the female. It wasn't often that there were too many that he couldn't stand but she certainly had become one. He refused to let his guard down when he knew that she was about. He didn't even bother with charm around her either.
Zeitgeist looked down at the water and spoke to Guillotine in Italian, conversing for only the boy to be able to hear and understand him. He watched Guillotine's reflection as he spoke, waiting for the boy to acknowledge that he heard what had been said before he spoke again. Though this time he walked as he spoke. He kept a distance between himself and the water, keeping himself alert to his surroundings. It was pretty obvious that he didn't trust the female in the slightest.
The older male left behind the area of the lakes. The female couldn't take the hint that he wanted to be left alone to enjoy his day down but the water and so he took the steps to move elsewhere in order to enjoy his day. He wasn't about to allow her to ruin his day so he would just spend it elsewhere instead. He would just have to make an attempt at finding hidden treasures in the bed of the streams at some other point in time on some other day.
