Read you like a book

:O I see a Lullaby!

The woman seemed friendly enough, if a bit quiet. Neelareturned her smile of greeting with one of her own, albeit one a bit pained from the ache left over in her ribs from the errant movement. The collie shifted herself several times, wiggling about to try and find a position on the bench that wouldn’t strain her ribs though she stilled and her ears perked a bit when the woman answered her question, though the name of the book was admittedly meaningless to her; what few books Neela had read had mostly been on practical subjects like music, woodwork or fishing, for her books were less a form of leisure and more a source of information.

”It any good?” she asked mildly, just because reading for fun wasn;t her cup of tea didn’t mean she couldn’t understand the appeal. Being as curious and travel hungry as she was Neela would have loved the idea of reading tales from far away places and long ago if she were a less active person, as it was unless she actually needed so read something she had trouble sitting down long enough to get through an entire human book. Luperci books tended to be shorter she had found, but also of a lesser quality compared to human authors. Especially the writing. Luperci handwriting was usually just below passable at best while humans used some sort of witchcraft to get all their letters exactly the same shape; a bit unnerving but easier on the eyes.
