Drin shrugged, not having fur was something she couldn’t imagine. Without it, she would feel naked. She did know a few canines who insisted on wearing different types of fabrics though, she snorted...the thought was preposterous to her, but that was mostly due to her upbringing. She wasn’t sure what to make of the figures in the drawing, but she knew the room was starting to feel darker and creepier the longer she stared at the frame. It was almost as if they could jump off the paper and chase the intruders out, but she knew she had to clear her mind of such thoughts.

While Jiva busied himself with the bookshelf, Palaydrian had gotten lost in curiosity in what used to be the kitchen. Now a dusty hole of what it used to be, her left hand caressed the glass bottles in the rack. A few of the bottles looked to be empty, but there at least 4 or 5 that had some sort of liquid inside. She took one off the shelving and tilted in the light to watch the liquid slosh back and forth. It seemed to be see through and light and without any particles floating around.

She put it back as Jiva arrived and she smiled when he praised her sleuthing. We drink it? She asked, slightly incredulous. Why would they want to drink something that looked like it had been here for ages? But the man seemed excited and if he’d done it before, surely there was no harm in doing it again. That one, Drin said pointing to the bottle she had been holding before that he had just so happened to pull off the rack. But how do we open in? She fingered the end of the bottle, turning her questioning eyes to Jiva in the silver light.
