He belonged here and he knew it. After all he was over Emma, it would have never worked out anyway... but this... this was something beautiful. He felt it blooming inside his chest... or was that the effects of being drunk... whatever the reason he knew he loved every second of being this close to Palaydrian. He rubbed against her as she nuzzled into his neck, an unfamiliar feeling to the man, but certainly not unwelcome. It wasn’t their last kiss though and as she pressed herself upon him he felt himself heat up more, and he returned her fierce need with his own, caressing her back and letting a hand fall below her waist to her rump. Each moment with her was one in heaven for the drunken man, and he grinned as she pulled away and took another swig. She spoke to him and pulled him through the ruined house. His mind was on exactly what she was talking about but he was still wondering what it was she wanted to thank him with. He sat with her and took the bottle from her, still having the grin on his face and as he drank she spoke. He choked a little. He let the bottle be removed from his lips and he looked down at the body he had many times imagined himself with, and yet a part of his brain that was still was no longer.
“Yes. I will be your first and only... but not now. I don’t want any regrets.”
He said bending over to give her a kiss to tell her that he was still very interested in her. He knew it was not the time they wanted this to happen. He sat up hoping she wouldn’t be too put down by his reaction, and he was quite enjoying their exchanges. He held up a hand in hopes she would take his, smiling at his stupidly fun idea. He took a drink from the wine with his free hand this time he was able to get more of the liquid down his throat and set it on the ground next to the couch, giving her a hopeful smile.
