Palaydrian was a ball of warm and fuzzy with her face down in Jiva’s creamy fur. The grin on her face only spread when the man she knew she loved agreed with her, but what came next took her completely by surprise. She felt the rumbling through his ribcage and suddenly Jiva’s voice broke the sleepy night noise, causing delicious spasms of chills to run down Drin’s back. She squeezed the male back as his arms tightened around her and she lifted her head off his chest to watch him sing. His voice may have cracked in reality, but in Drin’s drunken world, Jiva had the voice of an angel. She could feel herself swooning against him and didn’t want his confession to end. The red male was claiming her as his, not mates yet, but the next best thing...courting.
She scooted upwards on his body so she could rest her head in the nook between his shoulders and chin, the perfect spot for nuzzling. Her snout snuggled into his neck passionately and with eyes closed until his song finished and the woman whined with approval and licked under his chin. His next words made her teasingly pout again, but she remained laying upon him and breathed out a soft sigh. I ssssupose yur right...if wee sstayed, aye don’ thhhink aye could behave, she chuckled and tightened her arms around him again. Drin wasn’t ready to leave yet either. All of this felt like a dream, a sloppy one, but a goody. The golden girl wanted more endless nights like this, maybe minus the alcohol, but not the company. She could imagine herself sprawled out with Jiva, but in complete and utter bliss within the embrace of his strong arms.
Drin could hardly believe how the day had ended up. And to think, the two had only needed liquid courage to really get the ball rolling, but she was happy nonetheless. All worries and previous doubts she had harbored for the mohawked man had gone out the broken windows with that wavery howl. She was his forever.
