The alpha female heard the strange, unfamiliar call from the borders of her pack. As she made her way to where the call had sounded, she decided that it had been familiar, albeit not very much. She padded to the borders in her Optime form, nothing but a belt and knife on her form, wondering who was the newcomer who sounded neither wolf nor coyote nor dog, and held a slightly panicked note.
As she broke through the bushes to the border, the smaller, slender, dark canine that greeted her eyes was familiar indeed. She instantly recognized the dark jackal as Sepirah, a friend of hers and Shawchert's, and one who almost founded Cercatori d'Arte with them and smiled.
"Hello, Sepirah! What brings you here?" she asked jovially. She was happy to see her old friend, but could not help but noticing the slight worry on her face.
