Sleep. That's all he wanted; precious sleep without one idiot or another annoying him to adhere to their own wants and needs, when they wouldn't allow him something as simple as a peaceful rest. Waking up the storm coloured Angelo had noted the absence of the ghostly male, the Zephon's side of the bed was long cold and so the samurai simply closed his eyes and had been trying to fall back to sleep despite the noise that travelled throughout the howling caverns and that of the burning fire a few paces away, the sound of the crows rummaging around; endless minor irritations that caused him to simply drift in and out of dreams without relaxing or finding the rest he so desired. It was strange, for whenever Alex was with him he slept like the dead, not that he was going to inform the idiot of that specific piece of information in fear it would go to the others head.
Reaching out blindly, eyes closed, he grabbed the blanket and pulled Alex's share over him, huddling it up to his face and half resting his head on the gathered material whilst entangling himself with the remaining material. Picking through his mind he tried to find a dream or a pleasant subject of which he could aim his thoughts towards, but all he found were depressing matters he kept locked away and emptiness. Dreams had never come easily to him like they seemed to do with others, nightmares he got in spades but pleasant dreams were rare. Giving up on his pursuit of a pleasant dream he forced his muscles to relax as best he could, keeping his breathing easy until he fell into a light sleep which gradually began to deepen as time passed, the Angelo eventually, after much frustration, fell asleep dead to the world, a quiet snore adding to the background noise of his and Alex's shared chamber.
