Fayne noted Kota's change in posture when she mentioned her rank. It gave her a confidence boost, head and tail coming high to claim her dominance over him. The ember male raised a hand and motioned her to walk towards him. Her head lowered once again, not sure if she should. She didn't know what would come of it if she were to approach the Optime male. Optime, if only he was in Lupus. She would feel much more inclined to approach him if he didn't tower over her like a human, like Amy had. She felt a part of herself withdraw from the male, even if her body was telling her to listen to the hand motion he gave her. He continued to smother her with compliments which increased her confidence even more. Did he really think she was that beautiful? She wasn't the flawless fae that she was before the Amy incident. The horrid scar crippled all self confidence she had in herself. "Well, I am a product of nature, just like the plants and trees in this meadow. So are you and every wolf. But, thank you." Previously, a part of her knew she was beautiful but that was gone.

She noticed the next quiver his body made right after a slight breeze. It was the heat doing the same thing it was doing to her. Her own legs were still quivering beneath her wanting to carry her forwards towards the solid Optime mass of muscle and fur. The wolf's smile was charming, alluring. She wanted so bad to come to him, tail swayed behind her faster than before. Her heart began beating in her small chest, a rush passing through her as she looked at him. What was this? The time before, she hadn't felt this way. The male's had threatened her family so she had fought them off and hated them every moment.

She watched his eyes drift to the horrible scar in the shape of a wolf's eye. Emerald eyes focused on some pretty flowers nearby. She didn't want him to look at it, she didn't want anyone to look at it. She wished it would disappear, it was a horrible symbol of her failure. She glanced up at him, his expression surprised her. His eyes seemed to be admiring the puffed up flesh on her shoulder, accepting the horrible mark that blond had left. His words lulled her from the self-conscious state she was in, head coming higher and ears perking forward. He really thought that? That it made her more attractive? Her ears flattened not believing the words he spoke. It was definitely the heat making him talk that way. But, then her mind flitted to Noah. He was scarred from head to toe and was even missing a leg but he was still charming. A light smile shone on her dark face. Maybe his words were the truth. It didn't matter though, the heat had drawn him here and nothing more. "You don't really mean that. It's this stupid smell making you say that. Right? I mean, it's ugly and horrid. I want it gone."
