Mars moved back again, seemingly desperate to escape Terra's grasp. She was completely oblivious to how uncomfortable she was, only one thing burning through her mind. She needed someone, and Mars was there at that moment. That was all there was to it. He was reacting to her as well, if mostly by moving back. Terra laughed as he became soaked in water, looking even more comical than he had before. Terra was ready to help clean him up at that point, licking the dirt and moisture off his body. As long as she got a taste of him. Terra wasn't too sure how long she could last.
Her ears drooped as he spoke. Can't? She really liked him though. Really liked him. He was funny, and extremely entertaining. He seemed genuinely sorry, if his words meant anything. Falling back Terra watched him struggle to pull himself together. Why? Her voice was soft, almost crying for him. She had done everything. She had worked so hard. Why didn't he want her? Terra wanted him. Unable to comprehend things beyond what she currently wanted she watched with a deep sorrow as he stood. I'll behave.
