He did his best to suppress a chuckle. This was a serious situation, after all. Alaki had put himself in a very precarious situation with all that alcohol, and no matter how amusing it was Alex couldn't laugh at Alaki. It'd probably just encourage the brute. Shaking his head Alex decided that he was done trying to reason with a drunk. If he wanted to talk to Alaki he'd wait until he was sober and capable of listening to him, rather than just letting him yammer on and on about the same thing while too drunk to stand. Alex had a very good reason for leaving. Mainly including being half choked to death and wanting to teach Alaki a lesson on why it wasn't a good idea to try and kill his roommates. The being missing for days part was an accident.
His hackles stood as Alaki continued speaking. It made him angry, hearing about these others that had hurt Alaki. Really, it was in the past and on a normal day Alex wouldn't care. After all, he couldn't do anything about it and Alaki had him now, no reason to dwell on the past. Right now though he wished he was as good at fighting as Alaki was so he could hunt them down for hurting the large male. Especially since it meant that he now had to try and convince Alaki that he wasn't going anywhere. Difficult enough with how childishly stubborn he was.
Pulling a face Alex sat up at the grumbling. Old woman! I come in here when you're hungover into next week and pull your butt off the floor, and I get called an old woman? What kind of thanks is that? Hurt pride colored his face as he crossed his arms, pressing against the wall of the bed as he watched Alaki finally start drinking the water. He should just shove his face right in there, miserable coot that he was.
