Grandpa whipped around at Adelle's words, eyes wide. Startled Adelle looked up at him. It must have been more serious than she thought. She wasn't aware of what it meant to love the hybrid, to hold these dreams about him. It was just a curiosity for her, one she hoped her wise grandfather could help her understand. Grandpa's voice was dead calm, absolutely no sign that something was wrong. He was preparing for something, wasn't he?

The space opened up Adelle clambered onto the bed. Sitting down she faced him again, hoping for a hint of what he could possibly be worried over. His name's Skoll. He's from Cour des Miracles. He's like me, but older. We train together in a clearing. He wants to be a warrior as well, but he doesn't have anyone to teach him. Why would I dream about him? Her curiosity persisted, looking for the answer.
