Nothing Adelle said seemed to be making the situation better. Fayne was still upset about the scar remark that she'd made. Adelle hadn't realized that it was something other than what she was used to. There was so much of the world that she didn't know yet, still grasping with a child's understanding. Crouching down Adelle nudged her again, large icy eyes sympathetic to the silver wolf's plight. Adelle had more confidence than her. It was clear in her stance, her dominance over the female despite her youth.

It really was bad. Unable to fight, and taken down in a strike. Mercy wasn't the source of that scar though. It was a claim. Adelle understood that much. The same as she saw scars as a badge of honor to wear, it looked like the one who had did this didn't scar herself when she won but the ones she had conquered. It must have been a long line of conquests. How powerful was this fighter? Adelle wanted to fight like that, though she definitely wouldn't mark the ones that lost to her. It was disgraceful for a warrior to do so. I'm sorry to hear that. You can learn how to fight at Casa though. We know all about fighting!
