There was lots of hustle and bustle around the halls within the last few minutes, and Kai had stirred from his sleep to the sound of voices in one of the dens along the hall from his own. Cracking one eye open, his ear pricked and flickered as he picked up a few more sounds. Closing his eye once more and shifting some to settle back into his dreams, he could still hear the voices. Something was happening. With a huff, Kai was awake now, and lifting his Secui form from the floor, he shook his pelt down with a snort and stretched his limbs.
Padding to the enterence of his own den, Kai looked up and down the quiet hallway before heading in the direction of the voices, sniffing his way as he went. It was still fairly early and there wasn't many others around but as he grew closer to Ayasha's den, the voices got louder. Definate activity. He heard female voices from within her den, more than one, and ones he didn't recognize. Cautiously, Kai approached the enterence, just as a male left the den and headed off, looking like he was on a mission. Moving his muzzle into the enterence of Ayasha's den, Kai sniffed a little at the many new scents there. "What's going on? Why all the noise?"
