Finally - First Shift
#1
[html]

Lillith is just in some random cave tunnel in the caverns, and is shifting for the first time. Grace and Panda need to come to start dreading her hair Big Grin || +435.

She felt sick. At first she thought it might be the bat she had eaten, but no bat had ever made her feel quite like this. Sure, she might get a stomach ache sometimes, causing a desperate craving for grass, but this was different, this was if her entire body was on fire. She was struggling to keep herself standing, and had to rest within the cool confines of one of the Anathema cave hallways often. But despite the temperature inside this hovel, her body was aflame, and she panted desperately as she leaned against the rock wall of the tunnel.

What was wrong with her? Had she contracted some disease? Perhaps she had rabies, like that crazed bob-cat that had attacked her and her mother a moon ago. It’s paws were still hanging in her room on bits of twine like some twisted trophy. But her mind was still there, she could think clearly besides the pain, so it couldn’t be rabies. What was wrong with her?!

Excruciating pain suddenly wracked her body, concentrated in her joints and she whimpered. Lillith never whimpered, but this was something very different. Was she dying? Her vision swam and she felt like vomiting, and her eyes sank down to her hands. Wait, hands?

Suddenly, she realized what was happening, and it caused an explosion of flutters with her belly, which did not help her nausea in the least bit, and she turn to the side to cough up the half-digested bat. But instead of frustration she was elated, a feeling that she had rarely had the pleasure of enjoying. She was shifting! Thank the god’s she was finally shifting.

Lillith sat very still, and with a macabre interested listened and felt as her muscles and bones lengthened with sickening pops and grinds into long, sinewy limbs. It took the good amount of five minutes, but eventually, instead of lump of puppy flesh and fur, there on the stone and dirt ground sat a woman. She stood, with some difficult, and immediately wished for some reflective surface, but lacking one, did her best to get a good view of her new body. What she could tell was that she was tall and thin, very thin, her stringy muscles standing out clearing under her sable and crimson fur. Her chest, where she had expected to see voluptuous mounds like her mother, was relatively flat; no matter, no need for breasts anyway. She turned and saw her tail, still attached behind her, and long. And then, she realized that her mane was in her eyes, and flowing extremely long against her back. Great.
