You can’t have peace without a war

[/html]Wraith shrugged when Sparrow remarked upon the bow and arrow’s potential ownership. She didn’t really care after all; even if someone had been using it, they were probably dead now thanks to Inferni, so they didn’t have any use for it. Even if they weren’t, they hadn’t secured their goods very well, so she didn’t feel too bad. Besides, stealing from a loner didn’t really seem like much of a crime. The lands outside of the clan’s borders were lawless.

She perked up when Sparrow pointed out that there was a collection in the mansion. She hadn’t known that! Though, she only went to the mansion during the meetings, so she hadn’t really been inside since hanging out with Carrion and Ithiel on the roof. She thought human houses were weird and didn’t really want to go inside.

When Sparrow said that she might lose them, Wraith leapt to action to protest. “Hey!” she replied in an accusatory tone. She stuck out her tongue after she realized that Sparrow wasn’t done talking. She smirked when Sparrow handed her a new arrow and then nodded. She didn’t want to lose Sparrow’s arrows if she was nice enough to lend them to her. She stuck out her tongue again in response when Sparrow said that she might cure her aim.

“A medic, now, are we?” she asked, grinning. With that, she took a few steps away from Sparrow. She scanned for a tree at an appropriate distance and then turned so that she could plant her feet in the ground. She paused to string the arrow, making sure to point it at the ground, and then raised it and drew back on the string with one quick movement. She lined up her target, a squat tree, and then let the arrow loose. It bounced off the edge of the tree, but didn’t embed itself in the bark, and Wraith saw it fall just to the right of the tree.
