That enraged stare only narrowed further with that fox-painted thief's threat. He was picking through belongings. Not just anyone's belongings, but his belongings. Things that he had buried, but wanted to keep as a reminder. Things that he looted, kept as treasures, or memories. Memories that he stifled, such as that ring the artist had placed upon that finger. A ring that he had given as a gift to her. A gift that he regretted, but took back nonetheless. A reminder to not be so foolish with matters of the heart.

Lips curled back further, those ivories bared. Every hair seemed to be prickled, standing upright along his spine. It was a shame he had neglected to bring any weapons. He had figured, if worse had come to worse, he could use his bulky secui form for defense, and throw his weight around. After all, his pelt was thickest then, thick enough to even hide those scars that decorated that dark pelt.

Hands curled into fists, claws digging into those calloused pads as he continued to pace forth. He would call this bluff.

If ye want to talk, ye shoul' do it now. An' replace me belongings, he practically hissed through his teeth, in a tighter-jawed manner than usual. His anger had been provoked, patience shortened considerably. The man had very little pity for thieves. The way he was raised, thieves had fingers removed, if not hands.

If ye 'ave nothin' t' say, ye best make yer move before I do.
