Axelle let her meat cook a little longer, while Mido scoffed his down. She preferred hers to be a little more cooked, but of course ate it raw sometimes too. When she was in Optime, though, she made sure to get all the benefits out of cooking. While she held her slab over the fire, she looked at Mido, nodding her head as she took in what he said. She smiled widely when he called her ‘awesome’. He must have really been hungry after all. ”Thanks, I try.” She said jokingly still with the big smile. She flipped her meat to the other side, carefully turning the arrow. The wood around it became black from the fire's smoke, but it would be equally strong- if not, stronger.

Back to the bow, ”Well, are you any good with it?” Last time she remembered, Mido was a sword guy, and now he had a bow. She wondered if he was a multi-tasker like herself. She flipped her meat to the opposite side to let it cook better on that side. She held the stick out over the fire while she kept her gaze on Mido, interested in what he had to say. She smiled once again, widely, when he thanked her for the food. ”No problem, Mido. Anytime.” She took her meat off of the flame and took a bite out of it. Still a little chewy, but goooooddd. ”It’s good practice when you’re hungry. That way you’re doing it for a reason and not just shooting and killing rabbits for nothing.” She took another bite, chewed and swallowed, and continued, ”And not being wasteful.” She hated to waste things. It was one of the reasons she buried the carcasses – she believed that whenever she buried a carcass that wasn’t fully eaten, another of that animal is born to replace the dead one. The circle of life continues to feed the wolves.
