The mutt had been finished eating when he explained his dilemma to her. He fiddled with the Arrow she’d lent him, spinning it between his fingers as she finished the little meat she had left. She told him to follow as she physically motioned for him, and he did. She was kind enough to agree to help him improve upon his nonexistent bow skills, so he wouldn’t question anything she would tell him to do. Mido kept an eye on the other Marbas, interested by the presence of the deceased rabbit she carried with her. The dual colored woman took the time to bury the remains of the meal they shared together.

The female guided him to an overly large tree that she climbed up and instructed him to do the same. Taking a moment to look over the tree for knobs, he thought about how often he’d climbed trees, it wasn’t very often. Grasping the knots his nails dug into the bark’s surface as he pulled himself off the ground, he moved his way up the tree assisting with his legs remaining quiet as the Napier woman told him. Before the Marbas knew it he was on the branch crouched with the bow by his side. His eyes darted in every which direction watching the movement of the hopping rodents.

Looking to Axelle the Huskadore wondered what she had in mind for this Lesson she was planning. Grabbing the bow he counted the number of arrows he had, nine including the one leant to him. The half and half was pretty certain that nine arrows wouldn’t be sufficient for his lack of experience, but he was eager to learn and would do just about anything to get better. Taking an arrow he loaded the compound bow, he could at least do that. Ready to draw the bow and fire he waited patiently. Alright Axelle, now what? He asked in a hushed voice that was loud enough to reach her ears but not too loud to disturb the unsuspecting critters.
