The brown and black creature watched as the male held his head higher, tail swinging over his back with ears straight as an arrow. A true show of dominance, yet it made no effect on who was equal in this matter. Still, she remained low, trying to make a better impression on the wolf. As she sat up straighter, watching him devour the vole in a single snap, she wondered who this guy came from. Tharin, his name was. Surely, it appeared a if someone would steal his half! She took a small bite of her own half, severing the furry skin from the precious warm flesh beneath. It was delicious, the fresh meat so wonderful at this time. She ate quietly, not minding the company.
It was strange, not talking. And vaguely she wondered if Tharin was a shifter. To keep conversation rolling, the slender Hybrid asked between chewing and crunching on the tiny bones, "Where are ya from, Tharin?" A pink tongue came out of her maw to lick at the bloody mess on her muzzle, keeping her orangey-brown eyes on her companion.
