Wiping the blood from his hands, he took the bottle from her. He grinned and sniffed at the rim, wondering what to expect from the drink that smelled so unfamiliar. "Wine?" he questioned, and threw back a swig. Almost immediately he choked it back up, stunned by the unfamiliar and slightly sour taste. Sputtering, he wiped his mouth, "It's different, that's for sure." After regaining his composure, he examined it once more. Coeus found it strangely addictive, the taste he could get over. Again he threw back a swallow and licked his jowls, feeling slightly lighter then he had before. There was so much that he felt he was missing out from, at this moment, wine seemed to be the top of his agenda. He took another gulp, hardly grimacing.
"It's quite good actually, once I think about it." There was even a slight hesitation when he handed it back over. Though the silly grin on his face was enough to mask it. "Name's Coeus, it's nice to meet you." The gathering had accumulated quite the crowd, it seemed anyone was happy to come to the call of a pretty lady. He could even hear music in the background. It was from an instrument that he hadn't seen before but he was engaged to question every little thing that he didn't recognize. Leaning backwards, he continued to eat the meat he had cut. It was an excellent way to wash the wine down and tasted divine. Ripping away another chunk, less gracefully, he devoured that as well, his muzzle reddened from the blood.
He couldn't help but have his eyes wander up into the sky and to the towering buildings that were in the city. He wondered how she had made it here, she seemed to have a lot of supplies. A wagon, a horse, and a multitude of supplies that he'd never seen before or even thought of. She seemed to have accumulated a pile of broken and made a great fire. He could feel the heat on his face as he secured another bottle of wine from behind him.
