Welcome to 'Souls Locke, its great to have you here!

Saul Lupus is by Alaine!

A few days ago, Saul had discovered a pair at Vinátta's borders. Baharack and Karril were perhaps two that were so different from one another but they appeared to work well together. Ara, as she preferred to be called, was a bubbly, outgoing motor-mouth, whereas Karril seemed a much more serious type. He'd liked both of them however and had been delighted to invite them into Vinátta. They were such a small population at the moment that any new members were cherished. He'd walked with them to Jordheim and presented both of them with a welcome pack before showing them to a house. It had perhaps restored Saul's faith that they would grow as a pack- they wouldn't stay small forever. It had filled him with a sense of hope and had lifted his spirits the coming days.

His day had started early as usual and the grey man had made his customary trip around the borders. It was much easier to integrate a patrol of the borders into his morning run- it pushed him to run further and he was doing some good by checking the lines, reinforcing some weakened scent markings, scouting out areas. No-one was sure what path they would be taking yet, so they were all involved in most of the mundane tasks. Guarding the borders was an important one however and Saul took his duty seriously. He'd also been looking for a relatively good wood source- after he and Coli had excavated an area for gardening, Saul had thought it would be a good idea to build a shed and storage area to house all of the gardening tools and any plants that needed storing.

The interior of his house in Jordheim was cool this afternoon and he was glad that they rarely grew stuffy. It was through the open windows and door that Saul caught the sound of a howl, summoning to the borders. A grin flashed across his lips for a moment before he rushed out of the door, shifting down to his lupus form in a few short moments. It was a painful process, but he'd made it so many times that his muscles and bones had grown used to the shifting. It took him just a handful of minutes to get to the edge of the borders, roughly where he'd heard the sound. Moving at an easy trot, Saul followed the border trail until a figure emerged close by. Saul moved away from the borders, looping round to come to a stop in front of the tawny wolf.

Good afternoon, I'm Saul Stormbringer, leader of Vinátta. Can I help you with anything? He asked, posture dominant but tone polite and friendly enough. He was never one to be rude or abrupt and he'd learnt long ago that a firm voice but generally polite questions was the best method of getting all the information he needed without dithering.
